This is the official site of The City of Calgary for the sale of surplus equipment and materials, and public auction information. Surplus equipment and materials are available for immediate sale. Due to our ever changing internal requirements, surplus equipment and materials are subject to re-use within the Corporation.

The City of Calgary Surplus Sales Catalogue contains information on surplus bicycles, jewellery, office equipment, fire equipment, office furniture, industrial equipment and machinery, trailers and office structures, vehicles, miscellaneous items and items from lost and found and court seizures along with public auction information. Legal

The City of Calgary reserves the right to accept or reject any and all offers. Unless otherwise specified, the terms are F.O.B. our City location. These items are offered on an "As Is - Where Is" basis, with The City making no claims or representation of warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, and The City does not guarantee its use for a particular purpose.

We will assist you in obtaining any additional information on this equipment. Inspections are encouraged. All Sales Are Final. Note: All sales except foreign sales are subject to GST in accordance with the March 10, 2004, Federal Ways and Means Motion.

We are currently closed for all in-store sales. all sales are done online only. All pickups are by appointment only - Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Fridays 8 a.m. to 11:30 or 1:00 p. m-2:30 p.m.

Please be advised that all purchases made online must be collected in person from Investment Recovery, as we do not provide shipping or accommodate customer-arranged courier services

Jewellery

We have jewellery either from the Court of Queen’s Bench or lost and found. A maximum of 35% of appraised value is our price guideline. Many pieces are at a far lower percentage. Some choice pieces are excluded from this guideline. We will not sell jewellery below its scrap value. Available in the Manchester Surplus Store during the regular store hours only. See the catalogue sections "Court Seizures" or "Lost & Found" for items with pictures.

Computers

Desktop computers are not listed in our catalogue. These may be viewed and purchased during our regular Manchester Surplus Store hours. Most laptops and tablets can be found in our online auction under Equipment, Office
